- Private sector experience includes working with tourism companies such as travel agencies, car rentals, hotel chains, tourism cruises, marinas, golf courses and tourism-real estate developments.
- In business organizations has been the Vice President of the Asociación Mexicana de Hoteles y Moteles, the Asociación Mexicana de Desarrolladores Turísticas [Mexican Associaztion of Tourism Developments] and the Asociación Mexicana de Marinas Turísticas [Mexican Association for Tourism Marinas]. Was the Director of Tourism in the Concanaco Servytur, founding Director of the Consejo Nacional Empresarial Turístico [National Tourism Business Council] and the Asociación de Inversionistas en Hoteles y Empresas Turísticas [Association of Investors in Tourism Companies and Hotels].
- In the academic sector was a Member of the Consejos Académicos [Academic Councils] for the Universidad Iberoamericana and the Universidad Anáhuac del Sur, and also taught at the Universidad Anáhuac.
- On the international stage he has been a Member of the World Tourism Organization Working Group of Experts since 2006.
- Since 2004 eb turismo has carried out different projects and studies for tourism organizations and businesses, both Mexican and international, as well as plans and programs for the federal government, the federal Chamber of Representatives and Senate and 14 states and has provided consulting services for more than 125 municipalities, especially regarding Pueblos Mágicos, or Magic Towns.
